SPARKHOUSE Takes Silver for Interactive Commercial at ADDY Awards

Newport Beach, Calif., April 18, 2011— SPARKHOUSE, a full-service video marketing, advertising and media production agency, was recently awarded the Silver OC ADDY for Best Interactive Media Internet Commercial from the American Advertising Federation. They have advanced and will represent Orange County in the national competition in San Diego, CA on June 4th 2011.

The ADDY Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, attracting over 50,000 entries every year. The Orange County ADDY competition brought together the best local talent to recognize and reward creative excellence in the art of advertising.

The award-winning commercial features the latest 3D technology from XFX, a cutting-edge graphics card company. XFX Radeon HD 6870: Keeping it Real 3D can be viewed here. The video showcases the XFX technology through the latest 3D Medal of Honor video game.

“We were thrilled when we were asked to create a commercial for the XFX Radeon HD 6870,” says Torrey Tayenaka, co-founder and CEO of SPARKHOUSE. “Since it’s one of the first ever 3D gaming graphics cards, we wanted viewers to feel the same excitement and emotion they feel while playing 3D games.”

About the 23rd Annual ADDY Awards
Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the local ADDY Awards is the first of a three-tier, national competition. Concurrently, all across the country, local entrants vie for recognition as the very best in their markets. At the second tier, local winners compete against other winners in one of 14 district competitions. District winners are then forwarded to the third tier, the national ADDY Awards competition. Entry in local ADDY competition is the first step toward winning a national ADDY.
